On the reservoir for my power steering, there is a lid. In the lid is a small threaded fitting, 1/8 pipe I think. It has no plug. Should it?

No plug. It is the vent. Mine was also missing, so I put some light foam mesh over it and ty-wrapped it.

That's what I thought Stormcloud! I used a hose fitting and a short bit of hose in a loop.
