Title: engine rebuilders
Post by: David Anderson on July 02, 2007, 07:53:01 PM
Anyone ever bought an engine or tranny from these folks?

Just wondering if the experience was good or bad?

No…have no experience with them. Looking in their site….it appear to be a “rebuilder’s supplier”.
Cannot find a link to their “rebuild build engine” page to list what it includes.
Such as this one that I know & brought from:
http://www.trucks.com/parts_rebuilt_dengines.asp

So if you can find a class 8 truck parts sources as above & search for good reports….then list it here. However I would prefer to go to class 8 truck engine repair shop for more serious rebuild’s mechanic with better warrantee.
Here one near where you are:

Or  http://www.southernoregondiesel.com/

FWIW…links to more links:

If you want your engine overhauled- Southern Oregon Diesel is a bus specialist.  Good Luck, TomC

Agree with Southern Oregon Diesel.  I drove a bus a couple of years back that had its engine completely re-worked by southern oregon diesel years earlier, and it was really amazing. Performance on this 8v92 was fantastic.  Then I spoke w/their mechanics who were extemely helpful.  If I were in that area, I would give them a call.

Hope this helps, Phil
