Dangit,my first post went into cyber space. My day started off very interesting I learned something new,how to change a circuit breaker.Wasn't hard at all just a little scary afraid I'd set the house on fire, lol. But I didn't so that was a good thing.Okay,I'll tell you all what I bought. The bad news is that it ain't my Eagle(I wish).Okay I'm looking through Craigs list and I see 87'Beaver Marquis so I went to take a look see.Wasn't expecting to see much but what the heck,I have time to kill and the price was right. What I found was a very well taken care of coach with a 3208 300hp. cat on a Gillig chassis and Allison tranny(automatic).Inside I found solid oak cabinets,not1 but 2 ovens,a huge refrigerator,an ice maker, and lots more, basically every thing I want on my bus,and every thing works. So I bought it with the thought in my mind that one day I will have my bus and have all the goodies from this well taken care of coach to put into my bus.I know this one is a stick and staple but as of yet I haven't found one staple and I've tried. For a stick and staple it's pretty well built and good enough to sit in the driveway as my home.So I see it as a win,win situation.Hope you can be happy for me. Yep,these are the before pics, I've done a bit of work since bringing it home.

I have taken out the two chairs and in their place have added a desk and electric fireplace.Covered the couch put down an area rug, going to replace carpet this spring.Laid a new kitchen floor.Started Taking the carpet off the walls replacing with a low nap Berber in neutral color, keeping with the carpet cause it adds to the insulation, plus doesn't look bad.putting in a new backsplash in kitchen, and last but not least tearing out the carpet in the bathroom and replacing with tile.
I'll take some after pics so you can see the transition.Oh and I need that eagle from the one down in Vancouver to put on my great pretender.lol Peabody

Peabody nothing wrong with older Beavers one of the best Class A coaches ever built, to bad Monaco took it over and closed it down good luck
-
Congrats! It looks like a great find!
Many of the folks here started with a conventional motorhome and then built the bus of their dreams later. You are still a busnut as long as you dream of having a bus. Besides, it is built on a Gillig frame.
-
LOL She's a bus undercover or maybe in disguise or how about incognito.lol Hugs Peabody

I was in Cognito once, but I moved to the state of Chaos. :D
