Title: Altenator mounted to blower gearbox.
Post by: Tenor on January 11, 2009, 06:14:07 PM
In iminaccess's last post about what lines ran to his otr ac, the compressor was run off of the blower gearbox pulley.  Has anyone ever run an alternator from that spot?

Glenn, that is a accessories drive you can run what ever you like off it with out harming the blower.

I am going to do that sometime this winter for my 12volt house batteries, When I had the bus at starjets getting painted, I seen one there with a alternater mounted above the blower gearbox. Looked like a good place to me to mount one. Jason
