Hey Guys
Here is number two on our list. I don't know much about it, as the phone number for the advertiser does not answer. That and my e-mail will not link to their site. But, it is a great looking bus. Anyone know what is up with the GMBUSGUY site? Is it legit? Anyone seen this bus?

Wow, almost 50 grand for it? nice bus but sure is a lot of money to spend on it, in this market you can get a lot more bus for a fraction of the money.

I agree with Cody! Price sounds too high for what is out there that is newer. But not having seen the coach in person you never know. Depends on how long it's been for sale and what it really will go for.
I would take the time to visit a lot of coaches personally before crackin' my wallet. ;) Pictures on a website make anything look good.
Good Luck,
Paul

I would agree that the price is high, but in this economy I view the list price as what the owner wanted when the ad was posted. This one has been for sale since last summer. It is close enough that I hope to go see it next week. Besides price, any other comments?

That's Larry Heibert's bus, and it's no longer available. It's my understanding that he sold it for $23K. I was very familiar with it, he lived about six miles from me. Pictures actually didn't do it justice, it was an extremely clean rig. I was interested in it myself, but didn't like the floor plan. I'm not sure if Larry's still there, last time I talked with him, he was thinking of moving. . . which may explain the "no answer" to the phone number. (He was also slightly hard of hearing, so take that into consideration, too.)
Chris is doing an "ok" job with the GMBUSGUY site, not quite as good as Kevin Webb, who first put it together, but still, kudos to him for keeping it alive.
FWIW & HTH. . .

Travel,
This looked really good to me. There are people down there that can check it out for you. I have heard that a full inspection costs $300 and that that is cost effective and really needed to protect you. I have Never Been There and have Never Done That. Good luck with your search. It is a MCI-9 with flat sides and end caps and an austere but well done interior. The only fly I see is that the thing is in the south and the converter didn't insulate the wet bay. Also, the brand new 10 K gen isn't sound proofed. It still needs the birch cabinets stained and verathaned but he said he would finish it for the new owner. Look at this and tell me what you think.

I have see that on a ebay a few times now. Looks like a good bus, right now I am going to chase these 35 footers that I have found. 35 feet works much better for our life style. Perhaps paul should buy this one, looks like it is what he is after.
