Title: Awning fabric sewing
Post by: grantgoold on May 23, 2009, 04:48:54 PM
Does anybody know of a contact for sewing together awning fabric? I need to replace my awning fabric and would like to get someone with the right tools and thread to get the job done right.

Thanks

Grant

A sailboat shop or a parachute loft would be the only ones I can think of. Maybe an auto upholstery shop?

Truck Tarp shops can do the job for you and they have large enough tables to get the whole section on at once.

I recently repced the fabric on a friends trailer and went to the local surplus place for an owning to use. had the fabric cut down to size and rehemmed and worked just fine. The surpluss place has many awnings that are new so was very cheap. Jerry
