OK this ain't exactly about a bus.
But it is related!
Those of you who know me, know the old rattle trap tow truck I keep here on the property just for lifting stuff, pulling engines, loading/unloading engines. trans, have towed buses short distances in off the the road to a safe exit/spot, etc.
Got it's name from a fresh built engine that started smoking terribly less than 3,000 miles after being installed! (at idle it was fine, but under a load it'd make the mosquitoes move from our place to Canada!
Well I bought a crushed (fixer upper) class C RV that only had 43,???.?? miles on a good running 350 sbc.
Yesterday it drove out of the shop under it's own power and no smoke!
Now I can get the engine trans combo out of #707 and reuse it in #727
