Title: 4106 blinker light

i have a 4106 whose blinker box went on the fritz, i replaced it with a canister type and now the dash lights do not light up when i make a turn, also the stop light light on the dash will not light as it did.  any ideas?

If you are using a small automotive type canister flasher unit, it probably is undersized.  They do make larger amperage units but my bet is it is not handling the current.  24v or 12v?

i had the big blue sukka that went bad, i will replace it with a new one but i just put a small one in to check it out. seems i have 3 places for those canisters one on the e flasher knob one on the electric firewall and one for blinkers. the problem though is why no tell tale light blinking when i turn?
