Gentlemen I had an issue with my bus that makes me somewhat concerned about gas leaking into the living area and the basement. (the valve on the range was bumped so it was pushed in and the movement at the same time must have turned the valve as well, so I came home to a bus with a strong odor of Propane in it. I was able to turn off the gas and open windows I also put a blower near the open door to supply a clean air source. I stayed clear of the bus for 12 hours. All is clear and good now but, what a scary thing that was! Does anyone have input on the Scentry III detector and solenoid valve. I have some input that the auto shut off can be a nuisance and shut the gas down when none is present in the air. I do want to get a detector and install it, but do not know if I want to go as far as a complete auto shut down. Your input please! Thanks Tom

Modern tanks have automatic shut-off built in. They sometimes shut off the supply line if you open the valve too fast. These are portable tanks I'm talking about, probably not applicable to older permanent tanks.
