Anyone have an idea of the cost to convert my wheels from Stud to Hub Pilot. Assuming I already have hub pilot rims and tires what kind of cost am I looking at changing the rims from steel stud pilot to aluminum hub pilot? I am looking at keeping the insider rear steel. Seems like I would need 60 new studs and nuts.
I have an MCI 9.
Thanks

Not sure of the cost but you will also need six new hubs.

i believe you need to change to hub centered hubs as stud patends are not interchangable . chuck L

The MCI 9 could have both hub or stud pilot wheels your hubs may work just check the measurements the center and bolt spacing

GMC (later models) came both ways. Hub wheel center diameter is the same. The hub piloted models are listed in MM, but dimension converts to same inch diameter on stud piloted hubs.

Grant, looks like under 300.00 for studs, Nuts and washers. Plus press out & in charges. That depends on so much per stud. If you have a good press you can do that yourself.

Dave, are you saying that I can just replace the studs and nuts and keep the same wheel hub?

No you said in your post if you already had your wheels. Sorry hubs are different also. Thought you said you had them.
