Title: Anybody Know This Eagle?
Post by: Boomer on October 20, 2020, 07:12:54 PM
Premium Coach Group in Phoenix, a spiffy resale dealer has a nice Eagle coming in.  It's under "Incoming Coaches" on their website.  Anybody know the story or who owns it.  Says it was converted by American Carriage, a high end Prevost converter now out of business.  Never seen this one.

Nice looking bus.  I bet Andrew Steele will do a video on it soon.  Mid entry, the only way to fly.

Says it's an '83 so it must be a 10.  Looks really sharp with no awnings.  That green paint job reminded me of yours, Cliff.  I thought Andrew Steele gave up detailing and was just a youtuber now.

Dave Kellas has a Eagle 45 ft converted by Mark that was done for Reggie White of the Packers.I probably missed spelled Daves last name.My neighbor here in Scottsdale has a Prevost he did with a disappearing table in front of the couch that is pretty neat. She never drives it anymore and going to put it up for sale it is a nice low mileage Prevost but the Leopard skin would have to go

This one just sold a couple of weeks ago. It was all over several facebook group pages.
The video of the guy doing the inspection is really cool. The thing is like new. Some areas of it are better than like new!

Here is the link if you haven't seen it.

I don't know if I like mid entry or not. I like the driver bus door opener!!

Mark Fechner of American Carriage  did some incredible work on buses his Prevost conversions still bring big bucks,he is still around doing repair work so that is a plus for the new owner

Sold back in November, was a quick sale for Premier
https://premiumcoachgroup.com/product/1983-1997-eagle-w-american-carriage-conversion-one-of-a-kind/  Probably would have sold sooner if Hatt would have unlocked his check book. ;D ;D

Don it sold for a $140,000.00 ,the story I am hearing is a Canadian paid $105,000.00 to the 1st owner and could not import the coach into Canada so Premier sold it for him the guy probably made 10 grand after Premier got their share

Thanks Clifford,
Well, that is a rare transaction. Someone actually did put money in the pocket selling an old bus conversion. Obviously, this is a very special specimen. At least now we can say it is possible to make money on these money sucking toys. lol
