Yeah it has been quite expensive hasn't it? Not for the faint of heart for sure and something every Noob should take notice of for sure! Only a few shakes of this money tree left. ;D ;D Who would have ever thought shop towels could be so costly. Luck of the draw I guess? Any way can't wait to get on the road again, again.

so what was it? bearings out, coolant in oil, overheat, over rev, lugging, run out of oil....

Nope Van doesn't like a dirty engine so he just changes them every so often. ;)

Spun a main bearing and I don't like to line bore a 8v92 so it's another block

Thanks. On a separate note, how is Sonja doing.

Van nice to see you back.

I wish I was there with you and Van. I could be cleaning greasy parts at least, and visit with you guys and Sonja...

That sure would have been nice JC. lots to do yet. We payed Universal Machine in Vegas to handle hot tanking the block and re-honing it and got burned by them, so as a result I spent the past two days doing it myself. With that done now all the fun cleaning will begin. Clifford has been an absolute Saint through this process and has had to divide his time to this with so much on his plate already, Assembly to follow.
