Title: What grease and an air thingee?
Post by: Tedsoldbus on February 19, 2022, 09:38:33 AM
First two pictures are end of my shaft that drives the radiator fan. Second one, two old guys told me, is the tachometer. They said hit the zerc (sp?) on the tac "now and then". What grease?
Third picture is a little spring loaded push button "thingee" on the pipe leading from my air filter to the turbo. I seem to remember on my Allegro that if you see the red line, air filter is getting clogged?
Thanks guys

Yes any time the bus is lubed those zerks should get a little shot of grease as well.
And just as you stated the filter minder works off vacuum pressure to tell you when the filter needs changed!
