Unfortunately due to family circumstances I had to move 400 miles away from my partially converted bus. The storage fees keep going up beyond my ability to pay. I essentially have agreed to give it away for towing fees except for the new tires and batteries. Unfortunately all of my records are in the bus 400 miles away. I want to advertise the tires but I can't recall the sizes. Can anyone with those documents or that bus tell me what the size of the tires is? I think 10R22.5 x ?
The tires have only seen 5 miles from Goodyear to the inside storage unit. 100% original tread.

Hi,
Based on the situation, it would be fine to state the general condition of the tires. That is what a buyer will want to know most.

My 1977 AMGeneral transit had 12R-22.5. I think the GMC would be the same. Good Luck, TomC

Just looked at my copy of the maintenance manual for a fleet of 40 footers I bought around 1984. Maintenance manual states that "standard tire size is 12.5-22.5".
But, manual also presents a load capacity chart for a variety of other tire sizes, ranging from 11.00-20 to 12.75-22.5.
So, most likely 12.5x22.5, but not guaranteed.

Atleast what state bus is in and date tires were purchased. Many will want to know that. 10 year old tire with 5 miles on them would effect any interest for example.
