Say what you will about BEV's. But this one really looks sharp.

That's pretty cool. Could they not eek out another 100 miles range? I guess that would screw up the GVWR and charging times. 10.5 hours is not bad for that.

Like the old saying goes...Time well tell. These BEV's are still in their infancy but I would imagine that the battery technology will improve in both range and reduced charge time. Sure, they may be fine for short trips around town and suburbia but I would be uncomfortable for a longer field trip just now. We also have to factor in extreme cold where the heater would be going full blast and that's when the bus is sitting when waiting for and during loading. That would certainly drink a lot of juice unless you plug it in while waiting somehow. What about road salt? Electrical systems don't like salt. Yes, I wish GREENPOWER well along with the others that build BEV's but these are all important things to consider.

Pretty neat but also wonder about all the other electric things there and how they would drain battery length. Maybe the brake system charging they all talk about so that when braking it helps to charge thins up?

This may sound backward thinking but why not play on the idea of railroad coaches that had axle driven generators. They could be set in such a way where they could be disengaged when not needed to reduce drag. I heard about regenerative braking and it makes sense too but how will it work in real practice as opposed to on paper.

They didn't sell in Caneda so they moved to the US more suckers here I guess
