So what do you do if you dont have a RoadRanger? Get more people and push faster? Asking for the folks in the back of the room :-\ ;D

When I was driving stick shift GM Old Look transits, fishbowls, and 4903's & 4905's (and schoolbuses), it was "put it in second and pop the clutch." Sometimes pushed with the company pickup truck. Automatic transmissions meant I was out of luck.
The 6-71's in our old, used buses didn't like to start when hot. Of course, this implies I had air pressure for brakes, engine hadn't been off for very long.

When I was a teenager in high school I went to FL for spring break with a group called Campus Life, we all met in a parking lot on the south side of Indianapolis, IN and boarded the 4 buses going. When I was time to go the bus I was on wouldn't start. The driver asked the chaperone if he could get about 1/2 dozen of us boys to push it. Well when asked about 2 dozen of us jumped off the bus and even though there was only room for about 8 of us we all tried to get a hand on while pushing it. The driver popped the clutch, we all piled back on and every stop we made to Fl and back at least a 1/2 dozen of us boys would push start that bus, before jumping on it!
