Solar power for life on the road can be a challenging task for many people. However, Peter Flynn has shared his experience of electrifying his MCI with solar power and has provided diagrams of his system and electrical layout to help others in the process.
You can read his article titled "Electrifying the Elephant" by clicking on the link provided.

Hey, I Recognize that Bus !!!!
Thank You Sandra.
It’s been a little over a year since I wrote that article, My Solar system has evolved and been refined quite a bit since then but it is still essentially the same system and I am still very happy with it.
It has been very stable, no issues the only changes have been planned upgrades.
If you have not upgraded to LiFEPo4 batteries and Solar charging, I highly recommend it.
It has definitely changed the way we use our Bus.
Almost a year ago we were on our way to a resort for Christmas when our front curbside Wheel Bearing went bad, we were stuck in a Strip mall parking lot in the middle of nowhere for three days, The Solar system made it so much better, was like we were plugged in, Ran everything, Refrigerator, Air Conditioner during the day, Heating at night, The TV, Air fryer, streamed Netflix, powered the tools we used to fix the Bearing, did not fire up the generator once.
The Electrodacus System might not be for everyone, but if you are A DIY person (this is not Plug and Play) and know a bit about Electrical and don’t mind learning something new it can be an inexpensive way to a quality system.
