Title: How can you tell your Brake Cans are starting to go bad and may need replacing?

I can tell...when I have to use the back of the truck in front of me to stop I know. Duct tape my freind... duct tape! ;D

If there is any holes due to rusting or damage they are automatically changed. Also if there is any air leaks when applied the diaphram is gone. Do not attempt to replace a rubber diaphram in a spring brake. The powerful spring can kill you. They are so cheap if in doubt replace them.
