Title: Engine Coolant Circuit
Post by: Craig R on May 14, 2024, 08:14:26 PM
Can anybody tell me where the coolant is diverted from when it is sent through the heater core in an MC5c?
Can someone describe that entire coolant-flow circuit?
* Path from the engine through the left radiator - and back.
* Path from the engine through the right radiator - and back.
* Point of diversion to the heater core - and point of return.
* Location of each thermostat in the whole scheme of coolant flow.

The path on the 2 stroke goes through oil cooler 1st ,into the engine, both sides of the engine are tied together at the rear into the heater core for feed with a return line tied in on the lower block water passage and out both thermostats to the radiators , it is in section 5 of your manual

Engine (6V71) manual? Bus (MC5c) manual?
Perhaps I should try to buy one of these manuals!
