I replaced 9 dashboard bulbs today. I think with the wrong voltage. The bulb panel shows 12 Volts. The manual shows 24 Volts.
I started the bus and after the lights that initially come on went off, I pressed the bulb test switch to see the new lights.
The engine died. It blew the 5 amp ECM fuse.
After replacing it. I tried to start the bus again with no luck. At some point the fuse blew again.
I removed all of the bulbs and replaced the fuse again. I'm no long getting a blown fuse but the bus isn't starting.
Thoughts?

If you opened the dashboard to change the bulbs and that panel is where other switches, buttons, and gauges, are mounted with wires running here and there, then you could have disconnected or loosened one that impacts the start circuit.

It was suggested to me to separated the two start batteries and charged them separately.
One is taking a lot of amps.
Likely replacing them both.
I believe I had two unrelated issues occurring simultaneously.
The short blew the ecm fuse.
The batteries were too weak to restart once the short was remedied.
