For anyone who wants to drive in a Straight Line with a tight steering system (and who doesn't?) while traveling down the road, Straight Line Steering is the place to call. They have facilities in San Jose, CA, and Riverside, CA.
At their San Jose facility, you'll find an impressive array of Steering Boxes and accessories, a sight to behold for anyone with a passion for steering systems.
They have all kinds of steering boxes and many other steering accessories. Mark may say you just need new Tie Rod ends, but he can help you determine if your problem is more serious.
He can either send you a rebuilt steering box or he can rebuild your steering box so your steering box to make it much tighter while driving down the road. I have driven trucks with a lot of play in the steering wheel, and it wears you out and is no fun.
If your bus has manual steering (which we used to call Armstrong Steering) and you want to be able to turn the wheel with one finger, Mark can help you with that, too.
Here are some photos of some of the parts they have in stock. If you need steering parts for your bus, truck, or other vehicle, Mark will probably have them.
These photos were taken at their San Jose location a couple of years ago and as you can see, they have plenty of inventory to choose from and they can ship parts on very short notice.
Also, if you have a bunch of old steering boxes lying around you want to get rid of, give Mark a call. He is always interested in building up his inventory.
