While repairing my tag axle, I noticed that the driver's side king pin has some movement. The axle hasn't turned for as long as I've had the bus, as it is locked in place. However, I plan to replace the king pin anyway, as it still plays a role. Anyone ever take on a task like this? Any suggestions?

Are you chewing tires up? Considered a 3 axle Alignment once the pin(s) are replaced?

The king pins and bushings are around $1500.00 maybe more now if you buy the metal ones the plastic set is a waste of time but cheaper

I'm not sure about the tire wear. After my tag axle disconnected from the lateral arm, the tag tire was cut by the mud flap bolts when it got jammed against the drive tires. So, I don't know if the wear is from that or from the king pins. I now have a brand new tire, and plan to replace the king pins now that I can see that there is some play in them. I'll be taking luvrbus' advice and get them all aligned.
