1998 MCI102DL3 12.7 series 60 and B500. Fired up this morning to move to a different spot and check engine light was on. Flashed a code 54 which is vehicle speed sensor. Pinout shows E2 and E3 on the vehicle side harness goes to the sensor. Does anyone know where this sensor is? I'm assuming it's the output sensor on the tail shaft of the B500 but I'm not sure. I've stared at the schematics for the ddec and the wtec for hours but can't pin it down. Does the ecm connect directly to the sensor or does it go through something else? Hope someone knows.
