Title: Series 60 Long Belt R&R
Post by: Sebulba on August 25, 2024, 04:25:39 PM
Hello All,

Just as a preventative measure -- thinking about replacing the Radiator belts.  In a nutshell, can someone giver me a rough idea of the procedure to R&R those 2 belts.  The long one that goes form the Crank to the Radiator and the shorter one that goes from the Radiator to the InterCooler.

And, I guess, since I asking about this, does anyone have belt number for those 2 belts.

Thanks a million.

Seb

It's been a long time since I did my belts but I seem to recall having to possibly unbolt the charge air cooler fan assembly to r&r the short belt. The long one can be removed by rolling the belt off the crank pulley and then finagling the belt up and around the radiator fan. There is a small notch cutout of the fan shroud to facilitate belt removal between the fan and shroud.

Cool, yes, I saw that notch and thought maybe that's what it is for.

Thanks a million
