E.H.P. Engine Heat Protection CO. is a ceramic material that is designed to insulate various components from unwanted heat sources. It is commonly used to protect engine pipes, mufflers, cooling systems, generator compartments, and other similar parts.

This material is available in various configurations to suit your specific needs, including structural, cosmetic, and physical properties, making it an excellent high-temperature heat barrier.

E.H.P. materials are versatile and can serve as effective noise barriers, in addition to their primary function as heat insulators. They offer similar acoustic insulation properties, making them ideal for minimizing sound intrusion. E.H.P. materials are suitable for various applications where heat and noise reduction are necessary, such as Street Rods, Antique Automobiles, Airplanes, Boats, RVs, Trucks, Buses, Motorhomes, Commercial Buildings, Industrial settings, and even the Home.

I use the Rollboard insulation in my generator and engine compartment to make it quieter and to fireproof the area. I use the Wetblanket to wrap my Series 60 Turbo and exhaust pipe to keep heat out of my bedroom, and on my generator exhaust to force the air through the exhaust pipe rather than allowing it inside my generator compartment.

There are a couple of articles about using these products here.
