Title: Engine Service Manuals
Post by: Glennman on March 08, 2025, 05:17:55 PM
I'm in the market for a set of engine shop service repair manuals for my 2002 MCI with Series 60. My bus is a 2002 MCI, but the engine was manufactured in 2001. I found some manuals on eBay for around $250 that cover both 2001 and 2002 engines. I also see that they have an "engine owner operator's manual" for around $100. If I was to own the service manuals, would there be any need in owning the operator's manual too?

On my Prevost the owner operator manual was basically written by the marketing department, not very much technical info.

Have you checked our website?  What you need should be there.

Thanks Gary! I see the prices are much better! I didn't realize they are available here.

I'm assuming that the MCI 102D stands for the "D" model (such as my bus being a D4500)? I'll take a look at that.

In looking at the manuals, it is not clear if they cover a 2002 MCI. The MCI 102D mentions that it covers all MC models, but my 2002 MCI is not an MC model. If I can be certain that they cover my bus, I'll be ordering the thumb drive that has "all" the manuals. Has anyone here ordered the 102D manuals?

Well, since apparently no one here has ordered those manuals from BCM, I went ahead and ordered the books from eBay. I decided to wait on the operator's manual, since it appears to have limited information. I tried to download some pdfs of the Series 60 that were online, but I couldn't get them to load for some reason. It'll be nice to finally have some books on hand.

We sell an average of one manual each week and have only had one complaint about a few missing pages in the four years I have been doing this. We refunded his money, and he was allowed to keep the manual. Several bus owners and bus and engine repair companies have ordered manuals for all types of buses. We offer a satisfaction money-back guarantee on all manuals. We also have Series 60 manuals.
