Title: Storage on a Slope- Anything to worry about?

Hi, I recently took a parking spot on a slope and wanted to know if there's anything involved moreso than just simply parking on flat ground - other than the obviouis....please let me know, love to get your feedback - the bus is a '83 MCI 9 with Detroit 6v72.....and the slope is mild....I look forward to hearing your strong opinions!

Depending on for how long and how much of a slope it is, I would level it, skotch/block the rear axle, and pray! ;)

making sure it doesn't roll off down the hill is kinda obvious, uncovering  the fuel pickup, the refer not liking to work because of the slope, ditto AC units ( would have to be a big slope), oil getting onto seals that shouldn't have oil covering them all the time.

my bus is old and a little leaky if it's not on a slope.  When I first looked at it it was stored nose  up on a mild slope and was bone dry. This past winter I had it parked flat , and the pressure of snow melt on the roof allowed a little water to creep in.  I solved this (for now) by parking it nose up again.  I have always liked to store vehicles nose up and into the wind as in general they are made to shed water this way.

This wouldn't be the time to find out your parking brakes are somehow insufficient...

I would be inclined to block the wheels, let the weight of the coach lean against your blocks and then set the parking brake.

And you are following the good practice of parking the coach with the fuel tank full....
