Here is her new kitchen in the bus, all solid mahogany, all the shelves are slide outs, drawers are all dovetailed, upper doors on the ends are leaded glass, lol I wonder how long it'll take her to decide she wants maple lol.
-
Cody if she wants maple I will take the mahogany ones, I still have a 1981 Eagle10 I need to put together and sell
Don

Good grief Cody!!!! That looks great! Good job.
Maple ;D she will decide that she likes the mahogany better ;D.
What kind of slides did you use? We have blu motion slides to install in our drawers.
God bless,
John
-
Wow!!!! :o
As always Cody, you do beautiful work.
I'm sure even the sawdust felt privileged to be part of the process. ;D
-
John, the slides are pretty much standard self closing slides from lowes, I bought the better grade to get the roller bearings, if I remember right they are around 12 bucks a set, something like that.
-
Right on! Cody.I can make saw dust, just that thats all I end up with and not much else.Gotta get some of those new fangled saw dust makers that you own, think it's because i'm using too long a bar on the chain saw ??? ??? ::)top shelf(more saw dust) stuff ,ya dun good buddy ;)
-
Cody,
Sounds good. We went with Blu motion simply because we don't have as many slides as you do (there is a $$$ factor ;D), and because we took the lazy way of making sure that our drawers stayed shut.
Again, that is beautiful work!!!
God bless,
John

You taking applications for padawan perhaps?
Nice, very nice work Cody.
-
Padded room? lol
-
Cody, I think the maple would look much better. The mahogany doesn't look so good in your bus. If you want to replace it for Libby, just to make her happy of course, I would be happy to force myself to have that stuff installed in my own kitchen. I'm happy to do what I can to help a friend. ::)

Glad it finally worked out lol, those windows were certainly well traveled, I was concerned that something like a rock from a passing car or something bad would happen to them but glad they seem to have made it safely to your place.
-
They came to me in great shape! Even had some Arizona dust on them, go figure! If only they could talk huh!
Here's the proof!

I'm excited to finally have them in my hands, will have to wait for cooler weather to start the install.
What's your next project?
Paul
-
Cody,
Loooking good!
Your really raising the bar for the rest of us....... :P

The next project I guess is a continuation of the original, I had all new metal put in the bays, all new framing and only got the plywood sheeting down in the middle and back bays before libby redirected me, she had originally wanted the cabinetry to be rosewood but settled on mahogany after I whined a lot. so now I'm sheeting in the front bay so I can finish hooking up the water system and get everything loaded to head for BK's rally.
-
Looks great Cody!
I can't wait to get done making metal shavings and make some sawdust myself!
-
Lookin good Cody you and Libby have a safe trip to BK's
Terry & Connie
-
Look's really good Cody, have a safe ride, I know you have the itch to get out and stretch your legs

Isn't that so sweeet of Libby to sacrifice for mahogany in her kitchen, so you could have rosewood in the luggage bay!

Paul that is so cool! You got them just in time to load them up and bring them to our Rally so Jack, Cody & Don can help you install them! ;D
Oh ain't it all so swell when things work out so well! ;D BK ;D
-
Boy! I bet you can't wait to Taste those tri tips ;D
-
Hey BK, I wish it could happen, I would really like to meet you and spend time with "The Group". You are so kind to offer the help of your guests! ::)
We had to cancel an Eagle rally this month because of my college classes, it just wouldn't work out with my schedule.
TBR will be tight, but we'll be there no matter what! I might have to play hooky on that one! ::)
I'm sure Libby has the whip out to get codys attention!
Have fun yall,
Paul
