Title: Luggage Bay Locks
Post by: BusCrazyinFL on August 24, 2006, 09:27:40 AM
Any ideas out there for securing cafe style bays on an Eagle?  The coach we just purchased did not have locks on the bays.

Have you considered electric locks?

Here's one way:

You will need some kind of work around should a lock fail.

I used electric locks. Parts from dakota Digital. Put a "saftey switch in the cabin" (turns power to doors off) to make sure they don't open when I don't tell them too. Also a manuel push button switch hidden outside the coach in case the clicker doesn't work for some reason. Have had them for 5 years and 100,000 miles with no problem. eagle 01
Just my way -- your mileage my vary.
