The bus is home, Finally!

It started, it ran, and drove great! I even think it had more power but that could be I haven't driven it for a while and I forgot what it felt like, but it did feel different! Maybe it was the new muffler and pipes!
Anyway, it got pretty dirty sitting in the shop and now we have to clean it up, load it up and hopefully head out for a 3 day weekend at Flywheelers Park for the rally!

One thing though is the bus stil goes down in the rear even after replacing TWO air bags on opposite sides. It doesn't lean to one side now but it DOES go down evenly. The front stays up good! Probably looking at replacing the 4 other air bags on the rear in the near future since I didn't have to pay for the two I already got!

The Prevost that was being painted rolled out of the shop today and when the sun hit it, it was even better looking. The owners showed up to see it for the first time and were very delighted with the results! They loaded up items from their car and they too headed out to Flywheelers Park for the bus rally.

We have another trip planned for early April, which is back to the Ocala National Forest! Got some things to get done by then so stay tuned!

Feels almost as good as when you wash the bus and can see out of the windows, huh?

Why is it it always seems to run better after you spend a small fortune on her?

I don't feel that good when my wife comes home from the beauty parlor...........

Bob that's funny! I did spend some money on it but really wouldn't consider it a small fortune but it sure does seem to run better. I still think, after seeing the old muffler and all the holes and patches the PO put on it, that the new muffler may be the reason. Better back pressure maybe? I don't know, but one is for sure, it has better acceleration from a dead stop. It also accellerates better and quicker from idle while just sitting in neutral. It also could be a combination of a lot of things. Who knows?
Just got home from a long hard day. I have one more to go and then we are off for the weekend! Hooray... Finally!
