Those bolts that hold the seats in..

Does anyone know where I can get some of those bolts that fit into the grooves in the floor of the bus and then hold the seats in place? They go in the grooves, turn 90 degrees, and then the nut clamps them in place.
I would love to get my hands on a bunch (or even a couple) of those, and was figuring that maybe someone was removing their seats now?

FWIW, I made some up to use in the track down the side of the wall.
Carriage bolt of the right size, with the heads flattened on two sides with the bench grinder.
Used to provide anchor points for securing all the test furniture/fixtures during the ongoing floor plan real world development testing.
happy coaching!

Sam Caylor would probably have a bunch. Try him. Caylor supply (quick google pulls him up). He is in Rantoul, KS (small tiny town, you sneeze, and you are on the other side...lol).
God bless,

I just had my seats removed. How many bolts are you looking for? I will check tomorrow to see if they have not been scrapped.

If it's an MCI, I got some new from MCI parts in Dallas. Unfortunately, they didn't fit my 4107 - so they are obviously not universal. If I knew where they were, I'd send them to you as I can't use them.
The picture in your avatar looks like an MCI, but I can't really tell from a small picture - so I'm guessing thats what you need? If you don't have luck anywhere else, and it is an MCI, try MCI Parts depots.

Try MAK he's in CA and from time to time he has his crew remove the seats from a bus he sells or converts. (many MCI's pass thru his hands) I'd be willing to bet he's got a bucket or box just laying around. FWIW

Doh!
I didn't even think to post what type of bus I have. It is an MCI (102A3).
I'll check with Caylor after the holidays if I can't track any down.
I thought about making some of my own by grinding bolts, but I remember the MCI ones had a head that would lock into place when turned. Like a curved tee head. Figured I'd try to find some of those.
I'm in SF and will happily pay shipping and cost of bolts, let me know!
My plan is to make my bus interior a bit modular, to use the bolts to hold things down so that I can move components of my bus around. Yet another one of my weird-o bus plans.
