Hi Brian I looked at princess auto but could not find it and I see that the 3/4" and the 1" torque wrench are not reversible .

I have been looking for a reversible one thanks dave

Dave, I have this one from Princess Auto:
http://www.princessauto.com/pal/product/8002384/Torque-Wrenches/3/4-in.-dr-Heavy-Duty-Click-Type-Torque-Wrench
It is not reversible in that it only clicks in one direction, but the instructions in the box tell you how to remove the two Phillips head screws that hold the ratchet mechanism into the head, and flip the mechanism over so it goes the other way. That lets you torque in both directions with the click. I do it all the time and while it takes longer than just flipping the lever, it's not all that bad. It lets me do up the left hand thread nuts on my MCI.
Here is the other thing - it's a special buy, not a stock item so your store can order it but may not have it in stock.

Another thankyou for Brian. You should be on P.A. commission. I've looked at their big torque wrenches and walked away for the same reason but I think I can handle that level of mechanical adjustment.

here are a couple of pic's in case what I am doing isn't clear. Plus I am very bored, it is cold and snowing here and all my chores are outside, where I am not going to be today...
Brian
First pic is normal setup for RH thread Second pic is all taken apart and third pic is with the 3/4" stubby reversed so the wrench will work backwards. If you notice what you are actually doing is turning the wrench upside down, so to speak. While this was covered in the instruction sheet that came with the wrench, I bet it works on all sorts of click type wrenches that only click in one direction.
