I have first pic seat .I got it in 2006 at r v warehouse $ 500 each got 2 . I had to put some more hard foam on the seats because it was way to soft ....but no big deal it was easy ... after that they have been great for years still have them to day

don,t know how old they were then I bought them but they were new . but the one in the pic is identical to mine

Along the same price as flexsteel?

Villa cost a little more than Flexsteel but well worth it IMO

Yes that Villa! Villa IS the top of the line, and as said, high end convertors use them. I paid over $1600 each for my Flexsteel captains chairs, wish I had gone with the Villa to start with. I assumed I'd get a perfectly made chair. Did not enjoy the mess I got in with Flexsteel. Villa's are probably slightly more costly than Flexsteel in general. I bought my chairs and couch thru Bradd & Hall. Shipping was reasonable and quick, return shipping paid by them, but they should have caught the "bad pair of chairs" before shipping them out. It was a Flexsteel issue not Bradd & Hall. Chairs come in multiple sizes, so it's not an illusion. Think John Madden. Villa can build them any size you want. Gerry H

Go to an RV dealer and look at their top of the line RV coaches. You should find some to "try" Gerry H

I understand. My wife and I did it to see the differences between products used by convertors. You're doing research before buying. Around here, they sometimes are in the middle of removing furniture and swapping out to something else they have received and the pullouts are re-sold. You never know what you'll find, but it won't last long. Go Look!  We go to the RV shows every year to see what's new and being used in the different models. Gives you ideas. Gerry H

Look at highway tractor seats too. All the truck parts supply stores have them on the floor to sit in and try. Some of them are quite nice. They have them on sale once in a while. Or the truck wreck yards.

If you decide that is toooo much to put in seating.  Look at 2nd row toyota sienna seats. Lots of handy cap converters have them for a few hundred each new.. or on web for 450-500 pair.  Easy to go to car dealer and see how they sit.  I have the Bolstram (sp) seats like we have in semi tractors.  If your the only driver the fully adjustable in my case is a waste of money.  Just another option. Morefire has a picture of sienna seats in his busproject post.  Bob

Those are interesting! My goal is to have 4 identical seats ( 3 of them recliners )
