You should also NOT be starting the coach 2-3 times per week for ANY reason,,and should not be running it for ONLY 10-15 minutes.. This action does more harm that good.>>>Dan

People in parks do that all the time and I have no idea why. Unless we're moving, it ain't running!

I had all my battery bank cables made at a local battery supplier and it wasn't as expensive as I thought. After I pursued buying cable, end lugs, heat shrink, crimper etc the battery company was the best and fastest solution.

Bad news Gary, I spotted some rust at the base of your batteries. Looks like you will have to refer to your Eagle as a "Money Pit" like the rest of us.

hahaha Walter, nice catch but I will take this kind of rust anyday compared to what I had, anyday.
Ordered new 16 ton crimper, cable cutter and a few lugs.  I still have house batteries to do etc and the cost of the crimper was $39??  I have not ordered wire yet, will rerun from disconnect to starter as well as suggested.  This is now supplied with 2/0 welding cable but after seeing a properly crimped 4/0 cable of Kyle Brandt's I was convinced this is the way to go.  Now I will attack that newly seen rust in my battery compt when I remove batteries.

Getting great info here and very much appreciated.  Dan, I have to disagree with not starting up my bus for a few minutes at a time right now anyhow, I have done so much to bus since starting my conversion and I need to test all outlets to be sure they are working to satisfy me, like this battery cable wiring for instance.  I could have burned up by bus on the road and 15 years down the tube.  I know starting up the bus for a short period is not good, but I made a choice for my testing reason only but will do 1 per week to continue until I start driving it.  Most testing is completed now anyhow.  

Cliff, as usual, thanks also, I will try to research (Del City).  I will have all my NEW cables crimped as suggested, what a journey this has been.  I hope my wife's next husband appreciates all I have done.  Only kidding of course.

FYI The battery place on Furman Hall Rd has a crimper and cables, I have had them make cabels for me before.  May not be as sweet as what you have going, lol, and you get a new tool.
