When I installed mine and nylon tubing, I removed drivers seat and pedestal. Could then lay on my back to work on it.

Thought of that, but didn't. Wish I had. Nothing on these buses is convenient.

I've had the intermittent wipers for a while now, and they worked great until the last trip. The passenger side is now doing two passes each time the intermittent solenoid fires instead of just one, almost like it stutters before parking. Driver's side is still doing just one.

Each side has its own solenoid. No leaks that I can detect. Happens regardless of the intermittent setting or the position of the individual wiper control valve.

Anyone with experience with intermittent on air wipers have any thoughts on what might be the cause if the problem?

I would check for a bad or poor electrical connection.

I changed my air wipers to electric. One motor per side with electronic control that keeps them in sync. Infinite intermittant control plus low and high. Works great-was a two day conversion job. Good Luck, TomC

I appreciate the thought, but they are staying air wipers. Not only because there is not a bolt-on kit or easy way to make the conversion on a GM, but because I like the air wipers. Shouldn't be that strange for someone that likes old buses to want all the bits and pieces to be as original as possible.

The loose connection is something I'll pursue this weekend when I'm home - still out on the road driving truck this week but have home time planned for the weekend.
