Get a new valve and replace it. This isn’t complicated. Seriously. I’ve done this before and it’s not rocket science. If it still gives you fits, install a manual leveling valve. I did and never looked back. And when you capitalize or BOLD it’s internet yelling

Yes it is the valve. With rod or link disconnected, arm should move up or down, air in system or not. Your temps aren't below freezing are they? If they are, try warming leveling valve with a heat gun in case of ice in unit.

Will the back of the bus raise when you push the button ? if so raise it the Norgern valve bypasses the leveling valve then you can block it and crawl under it easy,me at the shop I remove the wheels to change the valve it is easier for old guys without a pit

After blocking the body, I would disconnect the supply line to see if you are even getting air through it. If not then you have to figure out why. If yes then it is your Valve.
