PC Industries- Turbo Re-source
« on: November 21, 2020, 10:41:17 AM »
As some may know Clifford and I are building what will be a new engine for my coach.
In gathering the necessary items no expense was spared for the build. Some of the most note worthy vendors I feel deserve recognition and recommendation are Alan Johns @ PC Industries   https://www.powerlinecomponents.com/detroit-diesel-overhaul-kits.htm#92series, also Tom @ Turbo Re-Source  http://www.turboresource.com/  for excellent customer service and the vast knowledge and experience. I highly recommend these companies in any future  DD rebuilding endeavors you may have. So here's a big POTB to these guy's for a job well done. ;)

Ditto on Alan Johns of PC industries. He was very instrumental in helping us get all the procurement right the first time around for our in-frame rebuild that's purred (well ya know as good as a 2 stroke DD can) perfectly ever since...  :^

I was up there a couple of years ago and took a photo which I posted on Facebook, they have about 500 engines sitting out in a field all ready to be rebuilt for the asking.

They are a good company.

Tom yep remember his DL. He and I and 2 sawzall gutted the middle and back of walls and bunks etc. in about 2 hours and that was because John had used Stainless steel screws on everything, LOL.
Then the girls took everything out and stacked it in the barn. :)
