Hurricane Ida
« on: August 29, 2021, 11:11:15 AM »
Thoughts and prayers go to those in the path of this monster hurricane. We Floridian's are happy to have dodged another one but our thoughts are with those that are dealing with it as I write this. 1 mph from a category 5 will not be easy for anything. Hopefully the newly designed levees will hold... There are a few busnuts that are in the path - god speed... to everyone experiencing the devastation...

We are fortunate enough to have our old bus to run  away in.  Sitting comfortably about 250 miles northwest of New Orleans.  I feel sick for our friends and neighbors who had to head north without knowing where they would lay their heads at night. Now we all wonder if there is home to go back to.  The next days will be interesting. We will claw our way back as we did after Katrina. Patrick
