Well I finally had the right combo of kids on the bus the otherday so as to put me at the end of my last run right at the street where that beautiful 4104 resides. Low and behold they were home so I knocked on the door and got a very gracious tour of the coach. The bus shows it's age but looks as straight as an arrow on the outside, The interior was very roomy for they take along five very large dogs with them. They were the nicest kind of people of course. The interior looks to be an older professionally built type with nicely done laminates. Engine was a 6V-71 with a four speed manual tranny and jake.

I sure wish my bus was that straight. My baggage doors look as if they were in a Samsonite luggage commercial, you know the one with the gorilla throwing the suitcases. I would love to reskin the baggage doors but at $800 per skin I will wait for better times.

Sorry for the rambling but it's good to have someone near with the same bus interests.

I wish everyone a Happy Healthy Prosperous 2009.

Nice post, Airbag.  I always enjoy reading one like that.  We're all just overgrown little boys havin' fun, right?

I don't want to hijack your thread, but since you mentioned meeting someone close by with the same interest, it seems like an opportunity to sound off re. something that's been bugging me for a long time.

I wish more members of this BB would post their location, at least their area or state of residence in their profile!  I'll make that an official MOTION!  Is there a second?
Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis,

I'll second the MOTION!

That is one thing that bugs me, people won't show even a state on where they live. It's always good to meet other Bus Nuts in the Neighbor Hood! And besides that neighbor might have the part you have been searching for! ;)

For those that are lucky to live in multiple states easy solution, list them all!

That way it's easy to locate someone whey you're flying by! ;D
