shack happy

Is anyone else getting as shack happy as I am?  It's been a long, long winter and I've been looking at the bus sitting in the yard,,,,I WANNA GO SOMEPLACE.  I'm also looking at the war department laying on the couch, she isn't strong enough to withstand the road right now, just the short drives back and forth from the doctors offices totally wipes her out. March is creeping in and with it maybe a few nicer days, it could happen that some of the snow could melt, I could do some work on the bus, it really could happen, maybe in the next 6 weeks things could bget better and we could actually go for a ride.  Anyone else feeling this way?

I've tried going outside but only to freeze my #@# off, I've tried alchol but she really gets upset, LOL, can't get her to join in, not sure where to turn, and we're back in the deep freeze again!!
Have Fun!!

We have been house sitting for almost 2 weeks for some friends in Prescott Az. while they went to a wedding on Maui. When we got here there was snow on the ground and 2 days later it snowed another inch or 2. Yesterday the last little bit of snow in their yard finally disappeared. We have been making day trips to Jerome, Sedona, etc. and yesterday we went up to Strawberry/Pine where we lived for 2 & 1/2 years before we got the bus and started fulltiming. Still lots of snow up in that area in places. :) We are leaving Saturday morning to go back to Yuma and our bus........can't wait to get back, we haven't been in snow for 5 years and although it is real pretty we don't miss it a bit!!! ;D

Last winter at Jacks was the first winter in years that I could move around without joints screaming and protesting, the warmth of the florida sun was only exceeded by the smiles of the people and friendliness of the herd of busnuts, the time spent at Bk's in tennessee was the perfect warm up for the warmup lol.  I'm missing everyone a lot and the memories of last winter helped us get thru the long dark days of this winter, now with the weather supposedly scheduled to change somewhat into spring, the urgency to do something, anything, is screaming at us, especially me.  I've done several walkthru's on the bus with a clipboard and a crayon, all the projects are minor ones, all I need is a little sunshine coming  thru the windows lol

Yeah, I hear ya. We've been in Quartzsite all winter, nothing to do but ride ATVs, play music, and go to flea markets. :D :D :D :D It's good to get on the road again.
