A 2002 Nova RTS Family Road Trip Bus Conversion
« on: March 03, 2024, 01:11:34 PM »
Ron Stevens developed a deep appreciation for buses, because of his grandfather's profession as a trolley operator and his extensive use of public transit while growing up.

His love for buses only grew stronger, leading him to purchase a 2002 model of the same type he used to ride as a child.

He decided to bid on a bus and to his surprise won. Now he faced several challenges, such as informing his wife about his decision to bid, transporting the bus from Texas to Philadelphia, and converting it for his family's use.

Check out this week's feature article from BCM to learn about how he overcame these obstacles and the incredible adventures he has embarked on with his family.

To me the RTS is one of the best looking transits of all time. While it received updates in terms of powertrain and internal components, the exterior remained pretty much unchanged.
