In looking at the engine compartment in my '02 MCI, it appears that there may be enough room to pull the valve cover and head without removing the engine. Has anyone here ever done this? Also, it appears that the valve cover is in two pieces. the top is about 2 1/2 inches deep and the second part is about 4" deep, so by the time I remove those, there appears to be quite a bit of room to pull the head.
