We also take our time doing the Hot Swap, since staying in one lane is fairly easy, the most important thing is making sure there is no one in front of you because using the Brake for those 10 to 15 seconds is out of the question.
I have to admit I always get a little rush each time we do it, but at 60 years old it doesn't take too much to accomplish that any more.
