That was kinda fun to watch! Funny to see the kids come in, plop down on the bed, and start making comments about what they liked and didn't liked.

Shows like that are great places to get ideas and attending them always seems to reafirm why I chose a bus conversion, interesting to note how many of the companies are in bankruptsy or shut down.

For those who missed it on Sunday evening (myself included), HGTV will be broadcasting this again on April 3rd.

Finally, an RV for people who park next to quicksand swamps, but still want their lawn furniture.

How about the Veranda in the "Best in Show" Clip

They brought the very first one to the Escapade in Gillette, WY last year (the Escapade is no great shakes, but the coach was on its way east to the FMCA convention anyway, so they stopped by).

It was nicely executed, actually, if a bit over the top.  But I'm not sure what the purpose would be -- these coaches are not at all designed for boondocking; that's not CC's niche.  So, what, you're going to have a deck overlooking... the next rig at the high-end resort campground?  The marketing image, of course, implies it will be overlooking the beach, or maybe a mountain vista someplace.

JMO, of course.

Not opinion, though, but fact is this:  CC's market cap is now less than the retail price of just three of these things.  If you really fancy one, wait a few months -- you can probably pick it up cheap in the Chapter 7 liquidation sale.

I'm pretty sure this show was produced before both Monaco and CC went bankrupt.

I should get one from their chapter 7 right before I go into mine :D

I thought that it was an interesting concept that busnuts could easily improve upon,  even if it was for handicapped accessibility.

The rugs to go under the awnings were a splurge for me, so I'll just stick with that.

Interesting opinion Sean,

That's the ticket.  Buy one as soon as they go bankrupt, then move to Florida (possibly other states as well) and live in it.  Establish it as your home before you go bankrupt yourself and they will let you keep it.  Ain't life grand!

The best-looking thing on the show was the host . . .everything else was just the same stuff we've seen for the last several years.

Notice that NOT ONE salescritter appeared in any segment with the fulltimers-to-be, and the host was carefully not saying anything to endorse the idea of fulltiming in anything that they were looking at . . .

I saw "the Veranduh" at the Fla show - On sale for a mere $569k - the crank out system did look stonger than the engine cradle - The model I saw had the kitchen in the middle of the sliders ?????? - Now if it had been on the dining room side with an integral awning/screen room I would have given them at least an "A" for effort in design - FWIW
