Another Awesome happening was that EricBSC's bus made it's maiden voyage/shakedown cruise.  I didn't get to see it up close before it was cut short by child illness.

It was great to see you there.
It's all fun and games til someone gets hurt. ;)

Eric's bus was the very first bus Nancy & I looked at years ago.

He gave us another tour this weekend. WOW! What awesome work he is doing. He has a bit more to do, but the work so far is amazing. Was a real treat to see the progress.

Hi folks, Dianne and me got back yesterday afternoon from Kingsport, TN, then I took a quick trip to Orlando and back, just getting in.
Thanks for the thanks on the Speedies.  I have to say that Dianne did all the prep work on them, me and John just applied the fire!
My brother-in-law was 72, married to my wonderful sister for over 48 years.  He had Alzheimer's the past few years and drove a truck with it for about two years.  His co-driver would get him under the wheel and as long as there were no turns Charlie would do great.  If there was a turn his co-driver Richard would time it to wake up and tell Charlie to turn onto the next interstate.  God bless folks like Richard that would do such a thing!
Charlie did 3 Greenland tours, 2 in Germany and 2 in Vietnam.  Had 4 wonderful children.  He was the kind of man that would take the grandkids to the mall, act silly and not care if anyone saw him act that way!
Anyway, thanks to all that made the non-rally such a GREAT time!

Thanks for handling lunch on Saturday Jack. Sure was good!

The sausages that Dave & Carol brought & provided for Friday lunch was a real treat! Dave is an excellent grill master & taught me a few things as well. The Eastern NC BBQ sauce eh whipped up at the last minute had EVERYONE talking! Amazing stuff!

We are blessed to have so many talented friends to have rallies with!

Finally getting around to catching up the board.

Sorry that I had to use up so much of southwest tenn. hospitality instead of getting to agravate the bunch at the rally.

We were on our way when someone decided different. But it shows  how much the friendship of all the busnuts mean. Wake up in a strange hospital 600 miles from home and see several setting around thinking about you. Call from all over the country checking on your condition and wanting to help.
Bk sitting there offering to drive Huggy home "I tink he wanted to drive a good ole time hot rod instead of those beautiful SETRA'S.

While every one was stuffing on saturday night "huggy" pulled out of the hospital parking lot and hit I40 going home.after a slow and easy tip with several stops we pulled into home about 10:00 am.

Caught my new driver with window down coming up the gorge on 40 into NC listing to the detroit growl.

shure hate to have missed the rally

I'd have liked to hear huggy's growl too!  ;D
Are you gonna be able to get your new driver out of the driver's seat? Or do you now have a chauffeur?  ;D

Glad you're on the mend!

Any chance of you making the trip to Arcadia this year? We're gonna be there - registered on-line tonight!

Take care of yourself, we need our Uncle Ned to teach us a few more tricks.

No rallies are the same without our favorites, Ned & Wilma Sanders.  So glad to hear you are mending and will be ready for jogging soon.
Take care, give Dolly our best.

I am still debating coming up for this one.  I have a hard decision to make since it is the weekend of the Georgia-Tennessee game and I haven't missed this matchup in person since 1995.  My bus has changed a ton since I first went to the 2007 July Rally, the outside still looks like crap but i have a TV and a Toilet ;)

I never did hear how anybody felt about them Vols!

Speaking of them VOLs.........How about that game tonight?
