Hey Craig,
You mentioned in a previous post that you could get someone set up with another email for voting, I would like to do that.

i would also like to enter a possibilty of a $5+/- per person school supply fund. We could set up a paypal account with Craig as its beneficiary and if Kyle happens to lose out to the bigger schools, we could still help out the little school. We would be able probably to get at least a portion of what the main prize is.

anyway i know what it's like out there, and I would like to help in any way i can.

I like the idea of maybe setting up a contribution for buying calculators for the school if he should not win. Lets wait and see how the contest plays out. I think it still has about 5 weeks to run.

Well, this isn't looking too good. Kale is in third place now at 234. The leader is at 251 and climbing. This thread hasn't been active for more than a week.

Looks like maybe we've exhausted the membership of those who wished to participate.

Thanks to all those who took the time to vote. I think there are 3 more weeks left in the voting, and then, if I read the rules correctly, the final decision will be made by a panel of judges based on creativity and use of tools, so there's still a chance his design will be chosen as the final winner if he can stay in the top 10.

The grand prize is $1000 and a TI-84, and 30 TI-84s for the school.

Also, if he remains in the top 10, it appears he will receive a first prize consisting of a TI-84.

When does this contest end,or has it ended already???........one suggestion would be to involve not just us,but the other bus nuts groups as well,maybe this has already been done.How many other groups are out there (Gm,MCI,Eagles,Crown)If it hasn't ended yet, I sure would like to see this kid win,I hate to lose,when you don't have to,just a suggestion tho...........Frank.

When Dallas told me about Kale, I emailed all my friends and posted on my Soap Sistah's board.  The tally is one of the first things I do every morning when I wake up. I just got in from work and checked and Kale has dropped big time in the count.  He is 4th now with 244 votes.  The new leader has 305.  We all need to get out and kick up some serious votes for him.  We are thinking of trying to do a little fund raising at the bus rally in Timmonsville using some flea sales to go to the school in Kales honor.  Cat

I just added 3 more votes from 3 other emails I have. One from Susan and 2 from myself. Counting the one previous vote back when it first started,, that makes a total of 4.
