Fella's I am going to try and get time to go to ARKANSAS to look at her!

Look at a map, I-40 crosses the Mississippi River into ARKANSAS @ Memphis! There is no west of Memphis in TN! Memphis is as far west as TN gets!
But no problem, I will call and see when I can go look at it, Kyle, Jack, Aaron wanta meet up and go with me? I got a place close by to store it! (actually more than 1 ;D)

I know of several of these currently for sale across the country. All conversion projects. I was contacted about another one in Kentucky last week also.

Tom, if you added on to your bus barn, you could put this right next to 1001

The problem is that if Tom buys another bus, his wife will own the barn!  ;D

The trick to getting your wife to let you have more buses is to keep them where she doesn't ever have to see them.  ;)

Bus barn is full. Three buses is plenty for any fool! Kyle, got to have em close to get anything done. Otherwise your wasting your time commuting! Got to have all your tools handy too.

I worked on mine tonight for about three hours. (almost every night for past 6 weeks) I get quite a bit done in the evenings after work.

I need another thing with wheels....... like a hole in my head!

I found out that I'm in a 'historic' district now. That is something new this year & is causing some opportunities with the new rules concerning buildings on the property & how they look. Once I finish the city hall gauntlet, (& save up a little), I'll put up a 'temporary' metal building to house the 'work in progress'.

It's gonna be interesting squeezing a bus port in my yard since I live down-town in the old residential area!
But it is in the works!

Closed minds.

The people who lobbied & pushed for the historic district drew the lines so their houses weren't included, but their neighbors were. They don't have to abide by the additional restrictions that we do. All of the meetings were carefully advertised in such a way those of us who were concerned about the additional rules were not aware . . . .

S0, now the productive path is to work within the new rules, I don't like it, but my bride LOVES our house, so we ain't moving & I don't want to upset SWMBO.  ;)

The best picture I have was taken the last time it snowed - nothing like a thick blanket of snow to improve the looks of a house.  ;D

Make sure that you call your new building a "carriage house".

BK, the same guy I was with has a 1954 with seats and all the windows he is thinking about selling he getting on in age and knows he doesn't have time to restore it but he won't sell to anyone that is going to chop it up.
We bought the tandem 4-71 from a driller in NM several years back to install in it but never done that yet

good luck

Luvrbus,

Did you get my PM? Could I get the contact info for your buddy? I Would like to update my serial number list to see if I have his Scenicruiser on my list. Thanks in advance for your help, I appreciate it. Take care.
