Well, we finally have a leveled pad and forms up for the floor of Larry's new shop, which will be a 40 x 52 ;D.  It will be a red iron, as the difference in price between red iron and weld-up was only $1,350!  We actually made a spot in it for parking the bus along the back, so that's going to be pretty cool.  His other shop is packed so wall to wall that he can't even get a truck inside it to work on it now ::)

It will be alot nicer having this one right next to the office, so that way he won't have to drive two miles to the other shop, plus, I can look out my office window and see right inside his shop.  It's a good way to make sure he's ok, and also to catch him "goldbricking". :D  I can rap on my window and shake my finger at him if I have to, ha ha. ;D

Fair is fair and a plug is a plug, wouldn't you say, BK? ;) ;) ;)

Yes it is a plug is a plug, and a fine plug of a plug at that! LOL!!!

Now Christy is there gonna be a pit under the bus parking place? Nows the time to put it in ! They are worth every bit of trouble it takes to form up and reinforce the walls it takes to add one ! Just be sure to run H20, air and drain to it and firmly reinforce the walls before pouring the concrete (they have a tendency to try and bulge into the pit area if not braced strongly enough ! I've seen it happed time and time again ! LOL!) BK  ;D

If enough people put on their registrations that they are interested in having a great (the BEST in my opinion) Bus A/C man look at and discuss their A/C's with them I'll invite my A/C specialist to the "TN Fall Bus Bash"

But ya gotta register and put it on the registration form, so I know there is enough interest in it to ask him to take time out of his schedule to come over for a day! BK ;D

I see you want people to fill it out, But for the life of me I have not seen anything but your address?????

Heck, I want to be there, But at the rate I keep braking stuff I won't get out of the driveway. Then the "runnin" funds

Hey, BK!
Why not post your registration form on the calendar listing where the Bash information is posted.... That way it won't get lost in the quagmire!

Just a thought!

We still don't know if we can make it.... Cat has a shift bid coming up around then and is not sure she'll even get any days off.

Everybody else though, needs to be getting those registrations in or NCbob is gonna hve you out in the mud hole with the skeeters and snakes!

hey, i just noticed there may be installation help as well as knowledge.  i need a bay heater, such as a wabasto, engine heater, cruise control and possibly engine brake.

can we do all that for less than a couple hundred, still attend and have fun and learn anything? ;)  will it be too cold there?  where is Union City, Tn.  i'm about as green as a spring apple (ask mr. conrad), so any help is helpful.

Wow, what a list !!! whew boy, I don't know Manasst, I know fer sure we could easily get the engine heater done ! The others are some what more complictated projects inthemselves ! I'm not saying no we can't or wouldn't be willing to try, but I really suggest you pick ONE that you need the most help on, and I see you've volunteered to be the "guinea pig" for the cruise control, at "Jack's Buss'in 2007" and rellay the engine brake (Jake) installation is something I'd rather do on a scheduled deal because of the somewhat difficulty of it.(and I'd rather not be tearing into engines on this particular weekend). So I'd say (and I'm not saying no to the other ideas!) make sure you have all (or most all) of the parts needed to do the bay heater! & the engine/block heater and it would be safe to say with volunteer help we should be able to do both of these at the same time ! While still allowing time for others to have time in the shop as well ( & for me and the help to still be able to enjoy some of the other happenings and not be totally confined to the shop!) Also the reason I say "small projects" is #1 we want to ensure fair time in the shop for eveybody! #2 it will all be volunteer labor (no charge, so larger jobs need to be scheduled for a later date at our reasonable shop rates) #3 we don't want to get into something that we can't complete in a fair and reasonable time frame, so we can all enjoy the weekend as well as the shop time ! BK

I hope this answered your questions, if not please call me at 731-885-7460 Bryce aka Knuckle

I need to replace windshield rubber.  Not a terribly big job, just one that takes more hands than what I have at the moment.  I even have the rubber.

Ross,
That is exactly the kinda "small project" that BK, El Sonador, & myself had in mind when we started olanning this Bus Bash. It's something requiring some assitance, but not a whole day long project !  But from what BK & I are seeing as far as registrations go well maybe each bus will have a day or to shop time available ! Just kidd'n ! We're sure everybody just being fashionably late in registering, or waiting to see if/or anyone else is coming! That's why we've decided to keep it a secret as to who or how many have confirmed from now on, sorry NCBob we should've thought of it sooner so folks wouldn't know yer the only guest we'll have ! Just kid'n again BK made say that!
Huck A Buck

PS. Steve, BK told me you came by and picked up some of the tires & I missed ya ! So since ya missed some you can stop in an pick up the rest of them anytime ! Scotty

I haven't registered because I'll be parking at BK's place for a little while during my house hunt.  I should be there in 2 weeks, 3 tops.  I figured I'd take care of it in person.  I'll also be around to help with what ever needs doing before and after the rally.

Ross

PS...BK, if you're listening, I can't thank you enough for offering the parking spot.  You da man....
