Buddy's MCI 9
« on: May 12, 2010, 04:55:31 AM »
Well my pardner called me and told me he was the proud new owner of a bus.  I assumed he bought the one advertised for $5000 that we tried to get started and failed on first attempt.  He corrected me and found one at a mechanic shop in Rosenberg as he was just driving down the road.  He stopped and asked and come to find out the shop did some work on the bus, 3 years ago.  The previous owner failed to pay and a lean was obtained.  He asked if it ran and they fired it up for him.  His mechanic said the 6v92 was in good shape.  Here you go fellas!!!   $1000 and some change, drive out.  They asked for 50 cents on the dollar for the original bill.  He drove it home.

good for him and the shop, at least they got some money back. This kind of deals due make it hard for some out there. Glad someone got a deal out of it.
Have Fun!!
