From GMC to MK&O Lines Tulsa,OK 02/1965.
MK&O stands for Missouri Kansas&Oklahoma.
MK&O was a very old bus company it's was bought by Jefferson Lines some 20 years ago.
MK&O and Oklahoma Transportation Company was owned by the Allen Family in Tulsa,OK.

Great info! Thanks!
Does anyone know what colors they ran or are there any old photos running around?

I bought the bus in Missouri and brought it to Kansas so it didn't wander far from home.

From GMC to Gulf Transportation CO.
Mobile,Alabama.
Gulf Transportation was also bought by Jefferson Lines and the old ruts are no longer operated by Jefferson Lines.
If I recall the colors were a cream and a darker shade of green.
Sorry I do not have any photos of Gulf's equipment. :'(

Thank You Roadrunnertex! The wonderful color photograph you sent me verifies the original color scheme on my bus as a MK&O bus indeed. Now I just need to find out when they pulled it from service and where it's been from then until now. I'm working backwards from my end too.
